The Member Portal
Your member wants to update their card. They do it in 30 seconds — without contacting you. Every membership includes a branded portal where members manage their subscription, read your messages, and reply directly to you.
How members sign in
Members visit yourname.ownyour.store/membership and enter their email address. A login link arrives within seconds. The link is valid for 15 minutes and works once. After they click it, they stay signed in for 30 days. A login link is all they need — no password, no account creation required.
When someone first subscribes, their welcome email includes a direct link to their portal so they can access it immediately.
What members see in their portal
The portal shows the membership name, billing amount, billing interval, and next renewal date. Their current status — Active, Past Due, or Cancelled — appears clearly. If a payment fails, the portal reflects that immediately and their email includes a direct link to update their payment method.
Read your messages and reply
Messages you send from your Members tab appear in each member’s portal. Members read each message and reply directly from the portal. Their reply comes back to your dashboard under the original message, with a reply count so every reply stays visible.

Manage the subscription
Members can update their payment method, pause their membership, or cancel — all from their portal. Update payment method opens Stripe’s secure billing interface. Cancellations show an access end date so your member knows exactly when their membership closes.
All changes sync to your Members tab immediately. You always have the current state.
Customize portal appearance
The portal appearance is separate from your store theme. Open your Members tab, scroll to Portal Appearance, and choose from five presets or set your own colors and font. Your members see the updated look the next time they load their portal.
This keeps your membership experience visually distinct from your public store — or perfectly matched, if that’s your preference.
