Customize your store
Your store ships with a default theme. Here is how to make it look like yours — change your theme, colors, fonts, and button styles from the Design tab in your dashboard.
Your store is unchanged until you apply. Every adjustment you make in the Design tab updates the preview instantly — but your visitors see nothing different until you click Apply to Store. Experiment as long as you want, then apply when it looks right.
Open the Design tab
In your dashboard, tap Store. The Design section is the second section on that tab — scroll down past your profile to find it. On desktop, it opens with a live preview of your store on the right.
Pick a theme preset
OwnYour comes with 8 theme presets. Each one is a complete starting point — a combination of colors, fonts, and button styles that work together. Pick the one closest to the look you want, then adjust from there.
Tapping a preset updates your preview immediately. Your live store is unchanged — you are previewing only. Compare as many presets as you want before deciding.
Adjust your colors
Four color pickers let you control every part of your store's palette:
- Primary color — buttons, links, and accent elements
- Background color — the main page background
- Card color — the background of product and service cards
- Text color — all body text on your store
Each change updates the preview instantly. Your live store is unchanged until you apply.
Choose your fonts
16 font options are available. Your font choice applies across your entire store — headings, product names, bio, and links all update together when you change it.
The preview updates as you select each font so you can see exactly how it reads before deciding.
Set your button style
Choose from 3 button shapes and 2 fill styles to match your store's personality:
- Shapes — sharp corners, slightly rounded, or fully rounded
- Fill styles — solid fill or outline
Button style affects every button on your public store page.
Apply your design to your store
When your design looks right in the preview, click Apply to Store in the banner above the preview. This is the moment your changes go live. Until then, your visitors see your current store exactly as it was.
Save your look to a slot
You can save up to two named theme designs using the My Theme 1 and My Theme 2 slots in the theme card row. Click + Save on an empty slot to save your current design. Click Apply on a filled slot to restore it to your live store instantly.
Rename a slot by clicking Edit next to the slot name — names are limited to 12 characters. Use slots to keep a primary look and an alternate ready to go.
Your store is live with your design
Once you click Apply to Store, your design is live. Visit your store at yourname.ownyour.store to see it the way your audience will.
Want to start over? Pick a different theme preset — it updates your preview with that preset's defaults. Adjust from there and apply when ready.
